The problem with most of these reviews is that people don’t understand the difference between console-style MMOs and PC MMOs.

To put it blatantly, the Wii will never have an MMO that will run as smoothly as one does on a PC, but that doesn’t make this game terrible. It is genuinely fun to play, has an involved story-line, sidequests, minigames (for those who like those, completely optional), and massive online multiplayer.

The Interface isnt amazing, but its still a great game.

My kids and I have played the Gamecube Crystal Chronicles together and had a lot of fun together. So we were looking forward to having more fun with this update.

When this game arrived we were ready with our Wiimotes and snacks for an evening of family togetherness.

Turns out the ballyhooed multi-player action is only for those with separate systems — each with their own $40 copy of the game. There is no multi-player gaming sitting together at the same Wii. We definitely feel ripped off and abused.

Apparently this is just a DS game in Wii clothing.

This game has a dual screen format that cannot be turned off. You have a main screen where your character is during gameplay and another screen with the spells to cast etc.. So say a monster comes up and you need to cast a spell you have to figure out which color spell orb to click on on the non play screen and then go back to focusing on the main screen to fight. It makes it very hard to play. I love final fantasy games and even was a fan of the Chocobo game for Wii, but this really disappointed. The laziness to make a game for DS and just slap in on a Wii too without changing the format. I am sad I wasted my money on this.
